Facilities

Tigh Bhisa has been renovated and furnished to the highest of standards, with underfloor heating and modern equipment as expected. "What a wonderful house - an amazing reconstruction with gorgeous touches."

The cottage sleeps two people and includes the following accommodation and fittings:

Entrance porch with coat hooks and area for outdoor clothing and shoes/boots. House-clogs are provided for wearing inside cottage.

Kitchen, fully equipped for the creative cook (including sharp knives!).

Bathroom with power shower (instant hot water available all day), with towels and local hand-made soaps provided. Please note the shower cubicle is quite small and compact due to limitations in this historic building.

Cosy seating area around the solid-fuel stove, burning coal and wood (provided).

A dining area with dramatic table and chairs, handmade from local storm-blown timbers.

Bedroom adjacent to lounge with queen-sized double bed. "The best bed we have seen in any hotel or B&B in the world!"
